Customs Updates

I am Canadian, and I print my own comics and ship from Canada. As such, if you order from a different country, customs rules may apply to you. I will try to keep this page updated with the changing policies. Please understand that as a small art business who relies on international customers, these new rules are very stressful and I hope things get resolved soon.

🇺🇸 U.S. Customers:

The current U.S. administration has decided to bypass the free-trade agreement between our countries and impose a 50% tariff on Canadian goods. Things are very fresh and I am still trying to understand if this will apply to my products. It doesn't seem so at the moment, but customs are still charging me a $2 fee on each shipment, which is reflected in the shipping price you see. I am sorry about that. Please understand that as a small art business, I cannot absorb the extra tariff costs like some big companies may be able to do. By purchasing art from me, you are supporting a Canadian business, and I am deeply grateful for your continued support of my art.

🇪🇺 E.U Customers:

The European Union has recently decided to apply a 3€ import fee to every parcel, in addition to any VAT due. Because of this change, Canada Post, which I use for all my shipping, has decided to suspend any delivery of parcels to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal and Spain. This will be in effect until Canada Post implements a new system to pay the duty in advance. You can read more about it here. Shipment to other EU countries is maintained, but customers will have to pay the duty upon delivery. I am very sorry about this temporary suspension and the added cost, and will update the shipping capabilities as soon as shipping is restored to these countries. :(
